WORKING ON, NOT JUST IN YOUR BUSINESS

Hello my friends! Over the past several months, I have been working tirelessly on my business. As a solopreneur, (Only person in my business), it’s so easy to get caught up in working every day in the business. Making products, getting orders together, and shipping them out. But one of the most important things you can do, is take a step back, and work on your business. This includes coming up with new ideas, products development, and reaching out to potential new clients!

I have also been working a lot on organizing my shop. It’s roughly 5000 square feet, so there is a lot of stuff to organize! Pictured above is the product photography section that I recently organized! Shelving for props, tool chest for all my EDC and smaller props, and the new Photographer Dude hanging on the wall! (T-shirts, Banners, and other cool stuff with this dude coming soon)!

I also just upgraded the candle packaging experience with custom branded, fully printed bags by Hubco Bag Co! They are killer and I would highly recommend anyone looking to up your packaging, to hit them up for custom bags!

Getting these custom bags not only is cool, but will save me a lot of time in the process of stamping each and every bag, (which I did before)!

Also, two weeks ago, I had the privilege of visiting my buddy Jonathan who owns Dead Sled Leather in Louisville, KY! I delivered a bunch of custom products to his shop, and we took product photos of almost every product he makes! Best of all, we got to spend time together, hanging out, catching up, and growing the friendship we started on instagram! The connections we make online, don’t have to stay there!

Needless to say, this year has gotten off to a great start, and I look forward to meeting a lot more of you in person as time goes on! Remember, take the time to '“Do What You Love”, not just as a hobby or business, but live a little and remember why you started! For me, it is to connect and share life with others!
