Kentucky Trip Part One: Dead Sled Leather

Last week my wife and I took an impromptu trip to Louisville, KY for the Grand Opening of the Dead Sled Leather “Dead Space” on August 21st! Jonathan is a full time paramedic and super hard working Leather Smith on the side. Month’s of hard work culminated in him being able to open a new storefront in the Mellwood Arts Center!

The day before and day of, Jonathan had two different news crews come and do a feature on his business! It was awesome to see the support of the local community come out and see what he was doing!

Jonathan has really been getting traction in the first responder community with his high quality radio straps, and this has given him the ability to expand, create more products, and get creative in what he offers to his customers!

We also recorded a podcast, which will be the next episode #013 and I will be launching that very soon! I am in the works of talking with a few brands and businesses about sponsoring the podcast more heavily in order for me to afford to travel more to more makers!
